Pantaloons is second largest retail outlet in our country with a market capitalization of Rs 4400 Crore. It was established in the year 2007 and is part of Future Group.
Pantaloons sells products under the brand name like Big Bazaar or Food Bazaar with thousands of malls all over India.
They also sell products under the brand names like Ezone for electronics goods, Home Town for Furniture, Planet Sports for sportswear etc.

3. Shoppers Stop
These stores are of all kinds like for consumer goods, mother care stores, food and beverage shop etc.
The current market capitalization of Shoppers Stop is over Rs 3200 Crore.
Its first store was started in Andheri Mumbai.
Trent another retail outlet owned by Tata Group was established in the year 1998.
Trent sells its products under the various popular brand names like Westside, Star Bazaar a hyper market, Landmark for music and books, Fashion Yatra for clothing etc.
The market capitalization of Trent is all most Rs 4000 Crore.
Trent has over 80 stores in 50 different cities with over 30,000 employees.
5. Aditya Birla Retail
You easily identify some its most popular brand names like Allen Solly, Peter England, Van Heusen, Louis Phillipe under which it sells clothing and other accessories.
Aditya Birla Retail also offers wide range of products from groceries to home care.
Right now it has over 490 supermarkets and 15 hypermarkets spread all across the country.
ITC is one of the largest FMCG companies in India. It has many retail outlets under the name ITC Lifestyle.
The most important brands are Wills Lifestyle and John Players.
Both of these brands sell clothing and other accessories targeting youth demographics.
Provogue India was launched in the year 1998 and it sells mainly apparels and other accessories.

Titan is owned by Tata Group and it was started in the year 1984. Titan outlets are known for two things generally. One is Jewelry and other one is watches.

10. V Mart Retail
Last Retail Company in our list is V Mart.
V Mart is one of the fastest growing retail outlets in India with a market capitalization of over Rs 1000 Crore.
They fashion garments, footwear, bags, kids accessories etc and V Mart has also departmental stores in smaller cities.
